Browser tools and destinations
The cleaner, UTM builder, inspector, QR generator and LinkInBio tools process input in your browser. They do not fetch destinations to check safety or availability. This build includes no analytics, ad scripts or remote font requests. Downloaded QR codes contain the entered destination, so do not encode private access tokens.
Temporary handoffs
Moving a URL, profile or template between tools uses sessionStorage on this origin. The receiving tool reads and removes the handoff in the same browser tab. A browser can restore session storage when restoring tabs. Use public information rather than passwords or private URL tokens.
Optional profile drafts and files
LinkInBio Creator saves a draft to localStorage only when you choose Save draft. It contains the name, biography, initials, link text, destinations and design choices. It remains in this browser until Delete saved draft or browser-data deletion removes it. Saving a draft is not a backup or an account sync. JSON, HTML and text reports are files you explicitly download; protect or delete those files separately.
Shared profile snapshots
A profile URL carries encoded JSON in its fragment. Encoding is not encryption: anyone who receives the complete URL can read the profile. The recipient page decodes it locally. Fragments are not included in the normal HTTP request for the page, but the full URL can appear in browser history, clipboard history, screenshots or messages. Never put secrets in a profile. Changing a draft does not update an earlier snapshot URL.
The local shortener
Creating a short link sends the destination and alias to the local service on this Mac. SQLite stores the alias, destination and creation time; no click analytics are stored. Rate-limit counters hold a local request address and count temporarily in memory. Records persist until the database is removed. There is no record-deletion interface; stop the service before deleting its database. This development service is not intended for sensitive links.
Copying, following and deploying
Copy controls write to your clipboard on request. Clipboard managers may retain history. Following a profile link or redirect visits a destination with its own policies. Public hosting can add access logs, infrastructure providers and different retention practices; review this note for that actual setup before launch. Contact setup is explicit about the currently unavailable mailbox.
